Safari Family Picture

Savanna's Birthday Safari

Kendal and Alissa had a fun safari party for Savanna's birthday.  Karl and I decided to dress up and have some fun.
We ate pizza, veggies and fruit.
Alissa gave the little girls play money and sold safari supplies in a pretend store.  The girls bought hats, binoculars and juice.  She gave them pretend medication to protect them from malaria while they were on their safari.
Korbin was the expert at making balloon animals.  Who knew Korbin had this hidden talent?
Alissa painted the little girls faces so they looked like tigers.  Grrrrrrr!  So cute!

Emma, Joshua and Amy Come for a Visit

Emma, Joshua and Amy came to visit us when they came to Utah for Amy's family reunion.  Unfortunately Kacey was not able to come because he had classes that he couldn't miss.
Since it was close to Amy's birthday we gave her some presents to open while she was at our house.  Happy Birthday Amy!

July 4th

We had a fun 4th of July.  We started the day out with red, white and blue pancakes.  Kristen thought for sure that dad made them, but nope, it was me!  I just felt like having pancakes that morning and why not make they patriotic?
Later that night we went to the Stadium of Fire at the LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo.  The Beach Boys were performing for their 50th anniversary tour.  Of course when we heard they were coming in concert we bought tickets right away.  It was fun to rock and roll to some of our favorite songs.  Kristen and her friend Gemily Haymore came with us.  They are two crazy girls!  The fireworks were amazing!

Yuba Lake

On June 28th through the 30th we went to Yuba Lake with our Young Single Adult Ward.  It was so fun just hanging out and enjoying our many new friends.  Kristen went out on the lake boating and wake boarding.  Karl and I stayed at the camp and prepared food, went for a hike, got the boats ready to go out on the lake and chatted with our friends.  We had a great time!
