The Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent

Absolutely loved the Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent!  This is the time clock used by the employees in the late 1800's.
 Entrance to the Potteries.
These are the molds that are stacked inside the kilns and are ready to be fired.
Love this picture.  This is where they fill and prepare the molds before they are fired.

This nice man demonstrated for us how to make pots on the potters wheel.
Elder Blunck shows us the size of the kilns.
This is the furness that heats the Potteries and provides power to the factory.
The tools and machines that keep the Potteries going.
 The kilns.

The Potteries also make tiles.  So pretty!

These are the pots where they mix the colors and glazes to go on the plates, cups, bowls etc.
 The molds.

Mick's Baptism

Mick was baptized by Elder Bateman but all these wonderful Elders taught him and supported him through many difficult roads blocks towards his baptism. Elder Kofoed, Elder bateman, Elder Taylor and Elder Johnson.  Love these wonderful men of God.

Visit to Crew

We arrived at the Crew Chapel and saw this amazing car and of course had to have our pictures taken by it.
This is the Crew Hall located just outside the city.  It is a hotel or resort now.  Beautiful!

Stoke District

Sister Conlogue and Sister Schwab are absolutely the best!  We are so blessed to serve with these sweet wonderful sisters.
Elder Bateman and Elder Kofoed serve as the Stoke District leaders.  Love them so much!  Great leaders and teachers.  God's Royal Army!
The Congleton Sisters!  Sister Luerng and Sister Kretschmann

Congleton Chapel

Karl and I traveled to every chapel in the Newcastle Zone.  This is the beautiful Congleton Chapel.

Mick and Sarah's Wedding

Mick and Sarah were married with all their 17 children in attendance.  They are the cutest family.  When the Elders met Mick he loved the gospel of Jesus Christ right away. This is a beautiful sweet family.  It was a pleasure to be a part of their conversion process and to see how the gospel blesses our lives.
Sister Schwab, Sister Conlogue, ZL Elder Johnson ZL Elder Taylor, DL Elder Bateman, and Elder Kofoed with Mick and Sarah.

The Elders performed at the wedding reception.  Their singing was fun and lovely.
