Quilts from Grandma

Grandma gave all the married kids a quilt from her for Christmas.  Thanks Mom for all your hard work and love that goes into each and every quilt!  Kacey, Amy, Joshua and Emma pose with grandma with their new quilt.
Kendal, Alissa, Savanna and Hallie love their new quilt.
Kim, Brad, and Joel pose with their new quilt.  Amelia is hiding behind the quilt, she didn't want to have her picture taken so Joel happily took the spotlight.  Where's Milzer?
Korbin and Abby love their quilt too.  I guess they are preparing for parenthood someday because all the kids loved playing with them.  Look!  There's Milzer!  Told you she loves Korbin and Abby!  Grandma looks pretty happy too!

Great Grandma Brinkerhoff's 80th birthday party

We had a birthday party for great grandma Brinkerhoff.  We had 20 people there for dinner.  Mom even invited the Elders!  We celebrated big time with lots of food, fun and family.  The great grand kids brought in a cake and balloons and we all sang happy birthday to her.  We love you grandma!  Thanks for letting us celebrate with you!

 Joshua telling grandma happy birthday.

We were all smiles because it was so great being together as a family!

Fun times in Washington

Kristen and Abby became the gamers!  They became very cometitive!
Amelia decided that Hallie was her little doll and she took care of her for the rest of our vacation.  Hallie liked it most of the time but Amelia loved it!
Batman!  Kristen bought the boys a batman outfit and they wore it the rest of the time at great grandma's house.  More cute pictures to come!
Kristen also made the girls tutus.  The girls danced in the white room and ran through the back yard dressed in there cute little tutus.

Washington Family Reunion

Grandma Brinkerhoff loves to make quilts.  She goes to a quilting group at church every week and works on one of her current projects.  I think this was the only moment she had to relax before all the Blunck's descended on her for our family reunion.  Thanks mom for letting us all stay at your home and for feeding us.  It was a very busy time!
Kristen and Hallie go exploring in Grandma Brinkerhoff's back yard.
Uncle Kendal hugs Emma.  Look at the beautiful bows Abby made for all the girls.  They look so cute that Emma wanted three in her hair at one time.  You look so beautiful Emma!
Joshua shows us his toy bug.  Love that smile!
Dinner was so delicious!  Grandpa and I got to sit at the kids table.  Loved every minute of it!
 Snuggle time!
The Wilson Family came towards evening and we were so excited to see them that we sat and talked while they ate dinner.
Beautiful Amelia!  She loved watching movies in the white room.
We played duck, duck, goose in Grandma's back yard.

Korbin's birthday

Grandpa and I took Hallie and Savanna to watch Korbin play a softball game.  We met Abby there and the girls were so excited to see them.  Hallie snuggled right into Abby's lap and drank her bottle.  Grandpa brought a ball to play with Savanna.
Abby is Korbin's biggest fan!  He has a lot of his friends on the team and looks forward to playing every year, and we love watching his games and enjoying the summer nights
After the game we went back to our house and Hallie loved playing with the Barbie house that grandpa made for Kristen when she was little.  Molly likes it too!
Savanna helped Korbin open his presents.
Thanks Abby for the wonderful cheesecake.  Korbin loved it the most, but we all couldn't get enough of it!

Night at Grandma and Grandmas House

Savanna and Hallie slept over at our house and we had so much fun!  We went to the water park in Spanish Fork.  The girls loved playing in the water and getting cooled off.

After the water park we went back to our house and Karl got out little pool out for the girls to play in while I made dinner.

Savanna and Hallie love jumping on the trampoline!
Gary got a lot of love that night.  She  wrapped him up in the baby blankets and carried him every where she went that night

Maddie and Me

Here is my dear friend Maddie.  She and I have gone to school together for the last five years.  She recently graduated from High School and is moving on to college.  I am really going to miss her.
Maddie had a graduation party at Good Wood with many of the people who have been a big influence in her life from kindergarten to high school.  Her kindergarten teacher was even there from California.  Maddie emailed me the information about this Vans backpack that she wanted for graduation.  Bet you can't guess what I gave her?
Maddie gives me a big hug.  I hope there are many more to come and that we will remain friends as the years go by.  I have been very blessed to have a job working with someone who means so much to me!

Beauty and hydropnics

Isn't this the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?  Kristen poses by our Golden Chain tree while it is in bloom.  Kristen is so beautiful!
Here is a picture of Dad's hydroponic garden.  This picture was taken in the beginning stages.  It now has green healthy plants in it and is doing amazingly well.  I am so proud of him!
This is the fish tank with blue gill in it.  The fish fertilize the garden as the water flows through the pipes.  It is really a very ingenious creation.  Dad has worked so hard on it and everyone is stopping by to see it.  Dad even has some of his friends giving it a try.

Where did ny teeth go?

Joshua lost his two front teeth.  Love this picture!

Amelia and Joel take care of Grandma and Grandpa

Grandpa and I went to LA to take care of Amelia and Joel while Kim and Brad went to Nauvoo.  On the first day Amelia and Joel took us to the choo choo train mall.  As you can see they got to ride the train and had smiles from ear to ear.
Joel loved playing on the fire truck.
Grandpa and Joel played superman.  They didn't need capes though.  I already know they are both supermen.  Okay, so Joel is growing into his role as superman but grandpa is already my hero!
I loved story time every night.  I got to snuggle with Amelia and Joel as we read stories and looked at the pictures.  This is one of my favorite memories!
Grandpa and decided that we wanted to go to the beach one day after we finished shopping at Home Depot.  Amelia started telling us where to go;  "Turn left, turn right or go straight."  She knew where to go and didn't even use a GPS. We were so impressed with our smart little granddaughter! As soon as we got there they ran right to the water. It was hard to get them to get back into the car to go home.
Kim and Brad brought back nerf guns for Amelia and Joel to play with.  They had a nerf war with mom and dad while we were waiting to leave to go to church.  Don't they look cute in their new clothes?
More beach exploration!
