We were able to tour the Lancaster Castle with the missionaries working in Lancaster. Thomas Holden was our guide. It was very depressing. After the castle was no longer used for noble families it became a prison. Many were tortured, hung and falsely imprisoned. They even had a dungeon where witches were kept. It was a rainy day.
