Birthday Celebrations in Liverpool

We had a wonderful day in Liverpool celebrating mom's birthday.  We spent the morning looking for a flat for an arriving senior couple and then decided to see go to the docks and check out the shops.  Love the architecture and museums.

This is the display for the Titanic at a local museum.
It was pirate day at the docks.  They were completely in character and very fun!

At the docks we saw many locks attached to the fences and chains located around the dock.  The locks represent love for each other.  It shows your commitment to each other.
The ferris wheel was closed on this day.  It is extremely high.
It was also biker day in Liverpool.  There were huge groups of motorcyclists so we thought it was so funny when we saw these bicycles lined up and tough looking people hanging around strutting their stuff.
This tunnel goes underneath the water connecting Liverpool to  the other side of the bay.

Beatles Museum!
